    Hi

Does anyone else have problems with this box?

    http://www.upc.ie/media/2009/6/12/dvr_lightgrey.jpg

The remote(see attached image) does not respond properly which makes it dificult to enter numbers for a channel...This must be the worst remote ever produced...

I pay as much for UPC as i would for Sky (65 a month) and i have no interactive options and no Recording options......

I can't switch to Sky as i am in an apartment..

Is it possible to upgrade - there must be better boxes/options available...:)

Any advice would be very welcome....Thanks

Call customer support and report it as a faulty box, as its quite an old box, if they find something wrong with it they should replace it with a newer version of the box.
The other option is to upgrade to a HD box, think there is a €30 charge and additional 5/10 a month.

What package do you have at the mo?

    Thanks

Not sure what the package is called.....

I guess it's the normal package with Sky Sports...

You are spot on....I rang them and they said the box would have to be faulty...

If it is they will replace it...:)

If not they won't replace it but will charge for the call-out....:(

I was hoping customers on very old boxes would qualify for an upgrade to a new box by default....

It appears that this is not the case though....

If i order Digital+ is this the HD box for 10 extra ???
