    Hi,

I completed a course this year that work paid for and since have been lucky to get a new job elsewhere too good to turn down.

Now that i'm leaving my current work place expect me to repay them.

What are my options? Negotiate with them to bring the amount down, just pay it, leave without paying, other ideas?

    Thanks

find out what your contract says. some companies have in place a system where if they pay for a course for you that was outside your normal role, ie, they paid for you to do a masters or something like that, that you should stay with them for a certain period of time after the course or else repay them the money. if it was a training course or such which you needed to perform your role then they cant do much to you as it was required for that role. let me know what course it was and i could tell you a bit clearer, we have a few cases like that where i work now
