    '07 Ford Fiesta.
Put it in the brushwash the other day and the dryer ripped off the aerial from the roof.
Ive had it in for a wash about 10 times previously without trouble and I swear that aerial was non-detachable cause i looked to unscrew it before. Are all aerials detachable?
How much would I be looking at for a new one?
I tried to get the broken part but it was stuck in the dryer and the garage assistant would not let me on a ladder to try get it.

Indeed you are a supreme novice :)

They are detachable. On some cars they are reverse thread. Im sure you realise now that proceeding on through was a bad idea.

You either remove or flatten it to the roof depending on the aerial. Ring your ford dealer I think they retail at anything from 25 up to 40 bills.
