Sending Degree Certificates to Big 4

Hey,
My big 4 company has asked to for incoming trainess to mail original degree certificates before joining the firms, does anybody actually send these? cos they never send anything back, and its kind of framed and on the wall at home!!

are you sure its not transcripts they are after?

As far as I know you can get a smaller, replacement cert which is still considered an original. That way they know you have the award you claim to have, without them having to nosey at all your results.

Send in a transcript from the college. They need them to apply for your exemptions (if any) from the institute. There's a reason they ask!

I'm pretty sure it's a results transcription you are being asked for.

Would be a little strange if you had your results on the wall in a frame?!

Thanks for the replies. Ya its the degree certificate they're after, they wanted the results transcripts before, and now the "original degree certificate". I thought it strange thats why I posted!

is it for ernst and young..i just scanned it and emailed it to them

Im startin in pwc too but i can't remember if they asked me for a copy of my degree. If they did I just scanned it and emailed it to them because I still have it at home
