Goa Recommendation?

    Hi

We are a couple and are planning a trip to Goa in the last week in October for some relaxation after a while treking in Nepal. We are looking for some recommendations for some relatively comfortable accommodation close to the beach if anyone has any where they have stayed in the recent past? Not looking for a party scene, just want to chill and relax with some nice food. Is it fair to say we should concentrate on Southern Goa in that case?

    Thanks for any advice!

    Moss

Head to Palolem beach... it's the place where Jason Bourne stayed in Bourne Ultimatium.

That time of year, you'll pick up a decent hotel for around $5 a night... less if you're any good at haggling.

I stayed there for 6 weeks, longer you stay the cheaper you can get your room for.

Can't remember the name of the place I stayed, but there's loads of nice spots.

Just don't stay anywhere right on, or beside the beach, expensive... just wander around and you'll surely pick up something nice.... it's off season, so you'll have your pick of the litter.
