I know that ESPN is now free (since August 1st) for existing Sky Sports subscribers on Sky. Is this also the case on UPC does anyone know?

it comes as part of the Select Extra and Max Packs with UPC, no need for Sky Sports either, sadly no ESPN America HD though.

As An Tarbh said it's included in the digital select extra and digital max pack. I used to have just the normal digital select but I rang up and got put on select extra to get ESPN, it's only an extra 2 euro a month, worth it in my opinion. Got the Sky Sports package in too, fairly expensive but I love the premiership so I want all the sports I can get. If it turns out I am finding it too costly then Setanta Ireland and ESPN will have to do, they show plenty of matches anyway.

And there's no real excuse for them not having it at this stage. Sky not allowing them have their sports channels in HD is understandable but they have ESPN HD so they really should do something to get ESPNA HD
