Melting Glass Wine Bottles

    Hey All, I am just wondering if any one knows where (if possible) I can get glass wine bottles melted down to make glass blocks for interior design project?? Willing to travel if necessary.

    ring greaney glass, they dont do it but they would know.

    all their broken glass is collected by suppliers and melted.

    If you're trying to save money by providing the glass, then you won't save any (even if you can find someone to do it)

    Glass blocks have plastic surrounds with plastic rails and spacers to put them up. They also need steel rods and rails for structural strength. Better to buy the whole kit together.
