    Hey Guys,

Was wondering what are a renters rights when for example they complain that their washing machine is terrible, leaves the clothes dirty and so crinkled they are nearly impossible to iron.

Shower pressure is rubbish and the hot tap is cold and cold tap is hot (minor)
The best or most modern feature of the place is the jacuzzi jets in the bath and they don't work.

The Dishwasher also doesn't clean anything on the top shelf. There's stuff belonging to the last tennant which is taking up space.

But more so the appliances are just terrible, pretty much unusable and the landlord doesn't seem to be willing to invest. If these appliances aren't up to scratch do I have any legal grounds to leave?

Minor matters. Don't trouble the PRTB or the courts with them. Get out more

Get a life - These are things i would check before moving in, Your lucky to have a dishwasher, We never did when we rented!!

If you dont like it move on or buy your own place!

Every thought your overloading the washing machine maybe? Have you cleaned out the filter? on the washing machine or the dishwasher?
    Ran cleaner through both?
I've never seen anything so crinkled it couldnt be ironed? turn the Iron up or are you sure the cloths are dry before your trying to iron them?

Have you used any of these type devices before?

Doing half loads. I'm asking because I am willing to move out as long as I don't screwed financially. If it's a good grounds to break my lease I'll do it.

The clothes come out looking like a feckin accordian. Have to iron them for ages or bring them to a lundrematte and throw them in the dryer

    Forget I asked sure.

    Throw it out.

As for the washing machine, I'd pay for it to be repaired/replaced myself then deduct that from the next month's rent.

Really, so you run a load of dirty laundry through the washing machine every time you're viewing a place? Get real, this stuff isn't going to be noticeable even on a very thorough viewing.

No, those are not grounds to break the lease.

Have you tried talking to the landlord and ask about the problems?
