Geography Secon Year Field trip 2011

    Hello all, I'm trying to find information for a friend about the field trip for Major/Minor and Single honours geography students.

    I know it's usually on during the March study week, but, any chance someone remembers what day's they're on? She is looking to go to a wedding which is on Friday the 23rd, and she's worried she'll miss it.

    Any help would be really appreciated :)

    I know when my friend went on her field trip, it was an entire week (they went to Glasgow). The March study week is usually on the week of St Patrick's day, but the thing is that's on a Saturday next year so I don't know if the study week would be that week or the week after, which wouldn't suit your friend. You will probably be able to find the dates on the NUIM website somewhere :)

    I think the field trips are in the second semester? during march i believe? .

    We've found out that the study week is from the 19th to the 23rd of march, but just wondering if it'll be a Sunday to Friday affair or what?

    I was on the field trip this year, we went from the Sunday night (early Monday morning really) and got back late on the Friday night! Hope that helps!
    Also, the details for our trip weren't finalised until Feb, or later even, but maybe if you e-mail the lecturer that looks after single honours geog he might be able to tell you when they are going! :)
