Old UPC Box...any use?

    Hi,
I am looking for a bit of advice. We got Sky installed today after getting sick of UPC. I rang UPC to cancel, they said I should dump the UPC box.

Now as much as I disliked UPC and the flaky box it seems a shame to dump it. So is there any way that it can be used in a kitchen or bedroom to receive channels? Or is it really for the dump?

    Thanks.

Without a card and a cable feed it is as useless as an ashtray on a motorbike. If it's the recording model you could pull out the hard drive and reuse it in a home (mini-tower) PC for backups.

Just bring it to your nearest recycling centre, if they definitely don't want it back.

It's utterly useless without an active subscription other than as an ugly paperweight, or perhaps propping a door open!
