    I need help!
I ressurected my pc after it lying idle for the best part of a year.
I wanted to put all my cd's into i-tunes. It was going fine until it told me I was running low on space.
I went into the Add/remove programs and removed a heap of unused programs.
After I eventually got through all that I did a reboot. It told me I had 81 upadates.
When I got it back on and inserted the next cd the cd would spin in the drive but nothing else.
itunes - nothing happens when I insert the disk as with any other programs.
I obviously deleted the drivers or something else.
There are 2 drives on the machine. Both are suffering form the same problem.
    They are:
    Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-105
    and
    Sony DVD-ROM DDU1612.
When I did use the pc on a regular basis I used to create regular restore points but when I went to restore the machine to an earlier date there were no dates beyond last night. In fact the calender in 'Retsore Point' wont let me go back beyond August 2011.
I dont have any discs for it.

    Anybody offer any help?

Glad you got it sorted as for your missing restore points they're more than likely deleted by the system when you ran low on disk space. Have a look here:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/301224

Sounds like you need a bigger hard disk or add another either internally or externally to store your music as your'e more than likely to run out of space again soon.
