The first thing that jumped out at me there was the Unattached next to Shaws name. Don't think I've ever seen that before.

Interesting to see Faletau and Tuilagi. Both look really promising and are in areas where their respective countries are weak. Both can be of great aid to their teams. I rate Tuilagi very highly.

I had no idea Haskell had joined a Japanese club either.

There's no club beside Shane Williams either. Is that a typo?

Yes, he's one of the few big names that signed a new contract this season and will see out his career with the Ospreys.

Didn't get a chance to watch 95% of the England game but would a fair assessment be that this was the best Welsh team that can be put together versus an England team minus a number of key players such as Ashton, Youngs and, God forbid, Toby Flood? If this is the case it doesn't bode well for Wales getting out of their group in the RWC.

I wouldn't say alot of people on here saw this game as the Ireland one was on at the same time.

I did flick over at half time and saw England wearing their black jersey. It's not thing of beauty and looks silly. The English are silly billys. There I've said it!

No, A full strength Welsh team would have had Jones, Jenkins, Rees, Hook, Halfpenny and Byrne. I would actually say Wales were impressive. Warburton is a truly brilliant player. The main problem with Wales today is the same problem they have faced recently. Most of their play is too direct. Roberts and Davies perform the same role at 12 and 13, basically boshing it up. I would say todays game made me lean more towards Wales getting out of their group.

Yes, I sky plussed it and I agree with you. I reckon that both England and Wales were more or less about equal strength with a number of key players missing from each. England were hanging on for dear life at the end and it's not too often that Wales get so close at Twickenham. Wales looked a good bit more impressive than I expected and, as you say, the emergence of Warburton and, to a lesser extent, Lydiate, were crucial in that.

Just watched the highlights and was a decent enough game. Wales were fairly unlucky to come out thee losing side for me. Stoddard looked good at full back until he got injured (fractured ankle and out of WC).Also Priestland was impressive covering for Jones who got injured (calf) during warm up.

For England Armitage was very good from what I saw as was Judgement Days lovechild. That black kit looks awful I thought. Moody got injured aswel , looked like a knee problem.

A full strength England team would probably have: Foden, Ashton and Lawes who would certainly improve things.

It would also have Flood, Sheridan and Youngs who would be much of a muchness.

But then it would also have Tindall and Easter, who would make it weaker :)

For anyone with a strong constitution there is a pic of Stoddart's leg break up on espnscrum.com. Looks pretty nasty so I can't see it staying up for long.

I'm gutted for him, seemed like a genuinely decent lad who didn't have the talent of some Welsh backs but applied himself well when given a cap and looked a genuine contender to start.

Poor guy, he's been injured a lot during the last 2 seasons as well. Played very well when selected during the Six Nations.
