Need to root Samsung Galaxy Europa (i5500)...running slow after upgrade to 2.2

    Hi

    I recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Europa i5500 phone to version 2.2 and it's now running very slow (lagging)

    After some research, I understand I need to firstly root the device, and then apply a lag fix tool (creates a small swap partition like Linux does I believe).

    However, no matter where I look, I cannot seem to find a way or tool to rot my particular phone (I've seen apps to root other phones)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
