    Hi there,

I'm trying to do something with a map....vague I know...

So it's a gift. My boyfriend is looking for a nice map of Ireland and I was hoping to personalise it by adding photos to the relevant areas...not just plonked in, but 'blended in' or inserted with an overlay to make it fit as opposed to ruining a lovely map.

I am finding it hard to
A.) find a nice map of Ireland (not just a print from Easons)
    and
B.) figure out how I'm going to get my photos onto the map

I really appreciate any advise anyone can offer!

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I've bought maps from allposters.co.uk in the past - mainly world maps, so I'm not sure what their Irish selection is like. Got them laminated and mounted onto mdf to hang. Not sure how you'd go about bringing the map and your pics together but you might get some ideas on shapecollage.com.
If you could get a high res image of a map you like, copies of the pics you want and a digital printer they should be able to sort you out. Worst case get a hard copy map and see if you can get it scanned or photographed and they'll be able to work from that.
