I failed an exam which I'm repeating in a few weeks but in order to renew my grant, I need to send proof that I passed my summer exams which obviously I can't.

The closing date to renew is 31st August I think and I won't have the results by then.

    What do I do?

Happened to me two years ago, submit the application with all your details including the failed exam results, then write a cover letter explaining that yolu are repeating the exam and fullly expect to proceed to the next year.THis will make them put it thru the system and when you pass your exams all they have to do is update the file and not leave you till last. Im sure you know that its first come first served. In all serirousness you would nearly be better off submitting the application the day it comes out and then forwarding all the supporting documentation. Im ranting now, back to teh pointm, submit as is then update when you can, they shouldnt have a problem with it, people fail all the time

Thanks. I left it a bit late to submit, so hopefully I wont be waiting til next January like I did in first year.
