Re Medical Card and Dentists

    Hi Guys,

    I am an MS patient with a medical card, unfortunately I now have a very sore tooth, one of my lower teeth (not sure of term) has a hole in the middle and is causing pain.....am I entitled to any free treatment from my Dentist?

    Medical Card entitles you to 1 free exam per year plus 2 fillings plus I think unlimited extractions ( gee thanks ).
    Card is really of limited use in dental matters.

    Be sure to check that your dentist takes medical card patients - not all do.

    I'm on the books of a dentist who takes the medical card, what a crappy dental service we have, thanks for the reply man.

    Whats the story with this if you are working full time, paying PRSI and a student? Any other relief for fillings?
