2nd person traveling free on a travel pass??

My sister has a free travel pass,as issued to her due to her invalidity benifit.

She was told that a 2nd person can travel with her for free on the pass.

Is this true and does she need to nominate a specific person for this??

Who does she contact or where does she go about this matter?

If your sister has the "companion free travel pass" then another person may travel with her for free, but if she has the ordinary travel pass then it applies only to your sister.

The GP needs to complete part of it. Your sister has to return her current free travel pass with the application. Turnaround on this at the moment is about 4 to 6 weeks so your sister will be without her free travel for that period. If her application is successful (its at the discretion of the medical officer) she can bring anyone over the age of 16.
