Yes, but prepared to be annoyed.

You have to delete your Irl PSN account from your PSP, and sign in with the American one instead. The problem with this is none of your Irish content will work when your signed into the American PSN (and vice versa), except UMDs which will be fine. So if you want to play your Irl games, you have to delete the US account etc... etc...

You can delete / add / delete / add as much as you want, but a pain in le arse it most certainly is. I have my Japanese PSN account signed in at the moment, and it's a pain when I'm on the bus and getting motion sickness from shmups and just want some peaceful Disgaea instead :pac:

You can also activate a PSP for an account when to copy a game from that account to the PSP from the PS3 using a USB cable.

If you're logged in on the Ire account and try to copy a US account game from the PS3 to the PSP that will also change what account the PSP is logged in as, if the PS3 is near this can be quicker.

Be careful as it may ask you to delete content when signing onto a new account, if you leave it there it'll still work the next time you sign into the right account.

Is signing in and out as simple as entering your e-mail address and password? It seems strange that the content gets locked depending on which account is signed in on PSP and not on PS3.

You have to be online and you need to delete your other account from your PSP. It's a quick enough process, just awkward.

The PS3 has profiles, with the profile that account is still there when you change but on the psp you have logged out of that account.

And, as you said, impossible when you're on the move (with this country's weaksauce wifi availability)!

Good point! The Vita won't have that problem, hopefully.

who knows, PS3 is a home console and kinda needs it. nut other than game sharing fears not much reason for Sony not to include it.

Surely the fact that Vita games have Trophy support would indicate that it'll have profiles?
