Wildfire is half a Galaxy S2 in almost every respect.

Wildfire is half a Galaxy S2 in almost every respect.

    As above

Wildfire S is the at very bottom end of current android phones

Galaxy S 2 is the best currently available

S really it should depend on the size of your pocket and wallet

Im leaning toward the HTC because of the cost of it and my friend has one and it hasnt given him one bit of trouble..
If only the S wasnt expensive..

If you order via FatCheese and are switching from another network, you'll get 40 euro cashback meaning the phone will only cost 99.99 on billpay

If your switching to bill pay go with the galaxy, if you want to stay on pay as you go you could get the wildfire s for €200 no contract.

It's pretty much one-sided. Not really in the same price range either.

Wildfire s is a grand phone. Nothing wrong with it but the s2 is a much higher spec as others have said. Only thing wildfire s would win on is build quality.

As someone who used to fix Samsung phones I agree, the Samsung build quality is ****e!

I have a Wildfire S and I find it great for what I payed for it (230) but isn't the Galaxy 2 a good bit more expensive and therefore a bit more beefier specs wise?

OP..this is like asking ''which car do you folks think I should get, a Ford Ka or a Porsche 911 turbo''?!

    hi folks,

looking for feedback on the wildfire s too. I really just need it for checking hotmail on the go, having a good diary/calendar on it, accessing a spreadsheet of some sort (word, excel, or whatever works on the wildfire). I'm sure i'll probably get into a few apps etc but I'm not heavily reliant on games, youtube, etc but suppose they'll come in handy. This one caught my eye because its more compact than the other phones out there but still has a legible screen for emails. In my line of work, I can't really have a large phone to be carrying round.

    Any thoughts appreciated

Screen is too small to see anything on it...especially word or Excel. This screen is 3.2 as far as I remember.your eyes will die from watching yt on it...get a 3.7 inch minimum. Go to any shop and compare sizes before you chose.

No competition, i'm a HTC fan but out of those two phones the Galaxy S2 is the far superior phone.
