Unlikely that he doesn't. Land registry is your port of call.. I do believe there is a charge involved.

You can set up an account at landdirect.ie but its 125 or 150 to start with. Its generally used by solicitors and other professionals involved in land conveyencing. You can then locate folio's by the map and they cost 2.50 a time to get the folio in pdf format. This is very useful as sometimes the landowner dosn't have the sporting rights on some of their land and the NWPS will take it out of the total area you give them.

    Lads

    You don't need Folio numbers
Any Department Number will do, Single Farm Payment,Area Aid, Reps all donate land area and location and are acceptable.

I don't know why they don't mention that on the form, but it is the case

So before you spend €100 getting a land registry account ask yer mate does he receive any farm payments ;)

I have posted several times over the years, Folio numbers are nice to have BUT not essential.
Any Department number outlining land area and owner are sufficient

you don't need an account with the land registry to get a folio number you just fill out form c99 on their site all you need is the farmers name and address and they'll send you the numbers for €2.50, if you want them on a map its €25 per number thats what they told me on the phone last week anyway bit steep for a map methinks.

Thats a lot handier and chaeper than setting up an account, I have one as I need it for work but it does get used the odd time to check folio's for shooting!!!:D
