Anything to do with "Northern Visions" (the hopelessly low powered analouge station on Ch 62)

On Freeview HD receivers, the MHEG caption simply reads on 110 "Vision is a new channel launching on Freeview HD soon" and on 111 and 112 just replace Vision with Connect and Stream.

I'll take a guess that it's to be an MHEG initiated broadband viewing service, not too dissimilar to BBC iPlayer on Freesat HD.

I recheck and the MHEG onscreen info is no change from what I posted on post 6 above

Sorry, I only checked the first one. It was from a Philips Freeview+ HD PVR which is connected to a BT Home Hub via ethernet cable.

NVTV tell me they hope to be on Digital TV somewhere , post DSO.

Others tell me it's highly unlikely.

You can get it with a simple set top antenna over much of East Belfast.

I know this is a bit of an old thread but was wondering if anyone with a Freeview HD TV has been able to watch any of the services on channels 110 or 111? I'm in Letterkenny but only have a Freeview TV with network connection and the channel (110) informs me I need a Freeview HD TV.

However, I was wondering if the channels check what side of the border you're on (via IP address)?

The 11x channels work for me. I can't help you on the IP address issue, but the service is currently only available on STBs and TVs that are Freeview HD with firmware that supports MHEG-IC.
