Ford Focus Loose Wires in Engine Bay

My Ford Focus has wires that are not connected to anything and I was hoping someone could shed some light as to what the wires are meant to be for as they keep dragging off the road and hitting the bumper.

I have attached pictures. They are on the drivers side just behind Headlight.

Fog lights and maybe the second one is for aircon, do you have aircon?

Nope don't have aircon. Would I be mad to remove them? Just hate hearing them clattering about.

Just tie them up with cable ties

That's far too intelligent & easy for me! Here I was about to start hacking away at the tape!

Do you have fog lights? They look like the cables that you attach for the DRL's. The thing is with the focus most of the wiring is already in place for extras, it just depends on what model you have.

Like for instance, if you check the footwells if you have a mark2.5 you will see a light holder so that you can have footwell lights. The titanium model has the bulbs fitted.

Yup, tie them up with cable ties. It might also be a good idea to cover the ends with insulation tape to keep them clean in case you or a future owner ever want to make use of them.
