...looking to find a Launderette / Laundry service where I can see prices online.

Basically, it's for B&B type stuff: sheets & duvet's in the main........getting tired of spending every evening at it !

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Forget on-line. If you'll be an on-going customer, negotiate in person.

    IMHO.

Indeed, if it's for a business then write down your requirements and get a few quotes. Then pit them against each other and go with whoever the cheapest for a year.

What sort of business is it, in this day and age, that doesn't operate online, or at least have a basic presence ?

Consider......boards.ie wouldn't exist with that mentality, would it............??

When you consider, that inside the last 2 weeks alone, I have a letter from the Chairwoman of Revenue, that they will no longer deal with the public on certain taxation matters at all - by phone OR in person, and that you must use online services........

Ignore soft communications at your peril.

The laundrette in the Old Malt do a lot of hotel and B&B stuff. Worth giving them a call. Very nice to deal with.

I'd be surprised if a lot of laundrettes had websites, but you might find contact details for them online.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure that they do collection/delivery, too.

Cop on: if you're a regular customer with more than just domestic volumes, you should be able to get a better price than any business would offer to casual customers. And it's the casual customer price that they'd be putting onto the website, if they're going to display any prices at all. Basic customer expectation management.

Also, you'd be surprised just how many businesses don't have websites of their own, or how many have them but don't maintain them. I'll say nothing more than that this provides interesting opportunities for people who run websites that say where certain things are.
