    ... was just described on 'Nationwide', RTE 1 - just now - as '...the most Southern 'parish' in Ireland...'.
    It deffo aint't the most southern town according to my maps!
    Does Crookhaven not have a parish?
    Why use the expression 'Parish' anyway? Hasn't RTE learned nowt? Do they still doff their caps to the clergy in Donnybrook?
    Begorrah - lets go back to the sixties and let the cardinals rule the country!!

    The Parish is a state division too, doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the church. The Civil parish does not always correlate to the Catholic or Church of Ireland parish.
