    Hi Guys

My bro has a 03 Sprinter with the all too common ABS fault "C1401 - Return Pump Fault"

I think someone posted here before about this and a link to somewhere that shows how to repair it. Does anyone know what this is, cos for the life of me I can't find it.

    Thanks

I work on mercedes every day of the week but that's one of two things it can be either a broken wire on the loom or a faulty speed sensor hope this helps

Thanks. Do you mean the loom in the vehicle, and the speed sensor at the wheel?

If so, its neither of them. I do know that its a common fault with the Bosch ABS pump that was fitted to them. There's a fault in the board, I think a dry joint or something which can be repaired. I seen the site a long time ago, but can't find it again as ususal....
