There's a thread about Italians from last year here, I would probably say Trattoria on Quay Street.

Also check out the best food sticky.

    Buon Appetito! :)

In Galway City centre my favourite is Trattoria Magnetti on Quay St, lovely place with good service. Milanos on Middle St has good food but the place can be a bit noisy, lots of families and small kids. My Italian friend who knows her pizza says that Pizza & Pasta on Cross St is the best Italian food in town. It's more for take-away though.

Think i might go for Trattoria since its closer to the city centre.

or is there anything in Da Roberta thats just worth to go the extra mile? :)

This has been our staple Italian for years and has served well for many b-days and occasions. During the boom their prices were reasonable when everyone else was overcharging for rubbish. Still a good deal today.

There's an amazing place called Da Roberta in Salthill. I couldn't recommend it higher. Only advice is to make a reservation as it can get pretty busy.

Trattoria on Quay St and Da Robertos in Salthill.

    Both top notch.
