If you could find a bracelet or watch of her that fits her and take it to where you're buying? Also, Pandora bracelets aren't meant to be really tight, because the charms take up room, so don't worry if it looks kind of big.

I think if you explain to the shop assistant that you are buying it as a gift and it may be the wrong size, they would be flexible enough if it needed to be changed. Ask for a gift receipt. It's what I had to do with my bracelet as it was a little big, and there was no issue with switching to a smaller size.

A normal size is about a 19cm or 20cm one, you should be able to fit a finger underneath it when its on and allow for charms.. Usually when you buy it they give you a gift receipt and you can bring it back within fourteen days. Hope that helped :)

I was with my brother last week when he was buying one for his girlfriend and he bought the size medium. I tried it on my wrist and it was fine, plenty of room to move up and down my arm so more charms would easily fit on but not so big as it would fall off. It was a perfect size for his gf too. The lady in the shop said that most people buy medium, but that if the size wasn't right, an exchange was no problem. This was in Fields jewelers.
