1st of 3 trail races on this evening at 7.30 at Glen of the Downs. Other 2 races next Weds and Weds after. These races are on very runnable trails and relatively small hills compared to the usual IMRA races. Just €7, or reduced price for OAPs/students/unemployed. Good event guaranteed.

Details of this evenings race here

Do you need to be a member of IMRA or can you just show up? If so, do you enter online or pay on the day??

Just show up and pay on the day. 10euro membership for your 1st race, and 7euro race entry.

Did one last year and it was great craic. I doubt I'll make any of them this year, which is a real shame. Is the stage set for a big Slogger Jogger/Pronator race-off? :)

We may be in the same race but there'd only be one winner and it wouldn't be me :)

1st IMRA win for Pronator this evening. Not bad for a man who did an early morning run today too. Roll on the trail race next week.

Pronator - you can record your club as Boards for IMRA races if you like.

Great result by earlyevening too who went storming past me before half way. I always struggle to pace Glen of the Downs. A nice little route though.

Did this last year, a great race and a great environment to run. Sure beats mile/kilo repeats on a Thursday;)

Despite his pre-race excuses of leaden legs etc etc Pronator still won again this evening. Well done. Looking good to wrap up the Trail League next week unless he forgets to tie his laces ;)

The 3rd and last trail race next Wednesday is the Djouce trail race. This is as traily as they come. A downhill start for a welcome change and its pretty fast and furious throughout. Good for those with leg speed.
