Apologies if I have the wrong section.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a crowd of youngsters working - handing out lucozade etc. Basically promotional work at the shopping centre. Anyone got any ideas who these promotional companies are? My daughter is looking for part time work and this would be great for her.

Alas I don't know who these companies are but permit me to sound a note of caution - there are a number of companies that have the word '' promotions '' in their name but in fact all they do is commission only door to door sales selling airtricity , cheap makeup , etc.
Just be sure that your daughter applies to a real promotions company and not a hard sell operation .

Thanks for the info folks. I have no intention of letting her do the commission only thing - I have done it myself!!! She wants the proper promotion stuff so will check it out.

Basically I would work friday & saturday night and sunday day. Alot of the promotion work deals with working in pubs in groups of 2 or 3 people. I promoted brands like guinness, smirnoff, budweiser etc i.e. pull your own pint, kilkenny cats laughs, smirnoff mule etc

As Declancey said be careful with some of those companies such as commission based but litesgroup offer 9e an hour + petrol expenses, think I got 40c a mile at the time. Also the tougher the promotion with equipment etc they pay more.

Have called them this morning. All their current vacancies are on one of the jobs sites so have checked them out
