Opel corsa 01 dashboard lights

    I recently bought a opel corsa 01 after driving it for few days i notice that there is a yellow light in a shape of a car with the spaner in the middle now everything works perfect but i really wanna know what does this light means and some times the light is not there so if somebody can help me plz

    this usually means a service or engine management. check the manual that came with the car. also did you ask the person/people you got it off if it has had a recent service? i wouldnt panic. its also to do with the car's computers. if you go to a garage preferably an opel one they have a code reader machine to find out what it means and where the problem is. go early in the morning if you can those places close for lunch. imagine this day in age people can close for lunch.

    Thanks for the help. This morning I started the car and the light is gone maybe it wasn't something big as u said I hope.
