    Hi all

Just looking for some opinions on the BH L60 road bike. I can only find one review on bikerader from 2006. There is a used one available for 750. Good value? The other bike I am looking at is a trek 2.1.

That used to be my bike. I liked it a lot. €750 is a very good price for it IMO.

    Cheers Lemag.

Did you own it from new? How come you sold it after 300kms? This is a 2006 bike right?

I bought it from a guy in Dublin just over 2 years ago. He'd had it for about 6 months and decided tat he wanted to put the money towards a motor bike. I'm pretty sure that it was the 2007 model.

I sold it because it was too big for me. I'm 5'7''. I suspect that this is the same reason for its current sale. The lady to whom I sold it was about 5'' shorter than I am and, despite my insistence that it was too big for her, she, egged on by her friend, went for it anyway I actually though that he had his eye on it.

It's actually the L62 rather than the L60. The L60 came with 105 and different wheels but was the exact same frameset. The L62 with the Compagnolo Mirage was more expensive although cheaper than the models which were equipped with Ultegra and Dura Ace. BH used to have the details up on their older website.

It looks like the stem and the cassette have been swapped out. The cassette on it now is more more wide ranging. The one which I had on it made little sense as the crankset was already a compact.

I thought that it was a lovely bike, btw.

No worries Satanta. I hope that you'll like it. I'm sure that you will.
