I've heard there is somebody doing a good job re-conditioning engines in Co Mayo, Does anyone on here know who it is or have any contact details? I am restoring a 1959 fordson major and the engine needs a re-build. Thanks.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Engine Spares in lanesboro in Longford are the cheapest around and they do a top notch job. They have done a couple of tractors for us over the years as well as a van engine. Their serviceis top notch and very professional. They'll give you a day and a time when it will be ready and they never fail. Google will get you their contact details.
