Not sure if this is allowed in this forum so if not please delete.

Recently I've started watching TV series again after more or less not caring for TV the past year. I came here and found "Suits" and "Wilfred" and I must say I am loving both of these shows so far but now I need more series to watch, preferably newer one's.

My favourite shows are as follows, Entourage, Suits and as I mentioned before Wilfred. I hate police/crime drama's so they're out, also cant stand SyFy stuff so they're out too. One exception to the no syfy rule however, I really enjoyed "Lost" (If you can class some of Lost as syfy) well the first season or two anyway before it turned into another love fest so if there is anything like lost out there I would like to see it.

Im into humorous stuff or anything with a bit of a story that can keep me guessing for longer than the first episode...Basically anything that you think somebody in their mid 20's would enjoy.

    Thanks for any tips :)

Had to throw on the dinner there :)

    Thanks for the recommendation Richard.

I watched the trailer there on You Tube but am little undecided as yet. Predominantly female cast is what's throwing me but I'll watch an episode or two and see how it goes.

    Thanks.

Not sure if you'd consider it a "police/crime drama" but I'd strongly recommend Burn Notice.

Yeah watched a trailer there and it doesn't seem to be a "save the world in 45min's show" , I'll give it a shot thanks.

Hi ziedth, yeah I looked in that sticky before opening this thread but it doesn't have much content apart from crime drama's etc. It doesn't have the wilfred show mentioned and I only found out about that by looking through the first few pages here in the TV section. I was hoping there maybe other shows out there not mentioned in the sticky.

Sorry if threads like this are frowned upon though, I completely understand if it has to be locked up :o

Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead. All you need is them and Entourage.

    Cheers scooby.

I used to like watching tv but then all I could see on it was useless crap. Everyone used to rave about prison break and 24 but man I couldn't stand those shows. Hopefully I'll find something good in what you have posted because even though I hate to think about it, winter's coming around again with it brings boredom.

Already a good start for Game of Thrones!

Ah I was the same myself, stick to Sky Atlantic if you have it. Anything HBO does is generally very very good.

    + 1 for Burn Notice

I'd also recommend Leverage, White Collar and Castle (even though it is a crime show)

Mad Men is easily one of the best things on Television at the minute. And for a new viewer, there's plenty to catch up on before the next series airs in the New Year.

the walking deads really good, you should try that. Most people will be thrown off by the fact that its a zombie series, but its not really about zombies, more baout the characters. season 2 in october, give it a go:)
