    Hi,
i'm due to repeat a second year exam in a week,
i'm not entirely confident of passing and was wondering if the repeats are marked any easier than the summer or christmas exams?
and also, would a 30% grade be enough for me as an E in this subject would get me a pass in the modlue it's in?
    Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you will need to pass the paper on the day I'm afraid. With regard the marking it totally depends on the subject (maths vs. philosophy for example) and the marker.

    Best of luck.

I had 4 repeats when I was in 2nd year and passed them all so dont worry. I think they are marked a little easier I know 2 of mine certainly were. You need at least 35% at least in most subjects to at least pass by compensation. Best of luck, give it your best shot - you'll be fine.
