Laptop turning itself off

    Hi,

I have a Fujitsu Siemens laptop, it's pretty crap and won't last for over 3 mins without it's charger for some reason, but that's besides the point.

Recently, within 5 mins of being turned on it makes a whirring noise, the lights flash and it turns itself off, even though it's plugged in, it happens every time I turn it on without fail.

Anyone know what the problem could be, the fans? The battery? And how much could it cost to get it fixed?

    Thanks.

How to kill your laptop battery: Leave it plugged in, alllllll the time.

Sounds like overheating did you ever clean your fan output? It's probably dusty as hell.

Nope, how would I go about cleaning the fan output? Where is it, I just open up the back?
