down at the social welfare office to sign on for credits, and have been asked to supply a RP50. Im not entitled to any benifits(class d),and am not claiming for a redundancy payement,so is this a mistake ?the officer said the rp stood for redundancy details.

Stabbing in the dark here but, did you leave your employment of your own accord? Were you sacked, made redundant or did you just leave, for whatever reason? It matters because if you quit your job i think you may have disqualified yourself from signing. An RP50 would prove that you were made redundant.
