    Hello all,

My Toyota Yaris is due a service & I want to do it myself. Its the 1l terra version. Just done 42,000 miles.

What oil does she take and what quantity?

What filters should I replace ?

is there anything else I should look out for?

Pads and all were done on the last service by a mech.

    Thanks all

Is it a mk1 or mk2 yaris? They both use completely different 1.0 engines.

I presume its a UK car if its in miles?

The year would be the obvious thing you need to give but either way all the new shape(mk2) models use the same engine.

They take 3.2L of 5w30 or 10w30 fully synthetic oil.

The 40k service should include, Oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs, Pollen filter.
The brake fluid is also due a change every 40k or 2 years.

Its also wise to remove the auxiliary belt and check the water pump for any play in the bearing as they are prone to failure.
