    Hi,

Just starting to look into a trip to Central America and Mexico for next year. Im wondering if anyone can give some info on what airlines they used, and rough idea of prices etc..

Thinking I would prob begin in Mexico and work my way down as far as Colombia. (Or vice-versa depending on flights i choose in and out).

    Thanks

Just booked a similar trip myself went onto e-travel.ie, got flights with Delta with just one stop in Atlanta for 850 euro, heading just before xmas which is an ok price for peak season. e-travel don't have a charge on using your credit card compared to ebookers who charge 15 euro!!

I travelled on Iberia a couple of times. They come up cheapest usually (to South America at least). Very much no frills (as in you won't get your own tv) but reliable. Air France were good. I got delayed due to weather and they made every effort to get me to my connection, got us off the plane first and car waiting on tarmac to get you to next gate etc... (And you can have champagne before dinner even in economy!) Can't say the same for American Airlines - late flights, missed connections, stuck overnight in States. I wouldn't want fly with them again tbh.
I've used e-travel.ie also - I've looked around they generally seem to come up with the best prices.

We booked flights to South America with Iberia. On the outward journey we were actually on a Lan Peru flight ( amazing, good food, leg room, own TV with plenty to watch etc)...on the way home we were with Iberia...and I thought it wa sthe longest flight of my life...rickety old plane that rattled constantly and no individual TVs ( and a useless film on the main one)...I would rather pay a bit more to get a comfortable plane with my own TV for such a long flight
