Seen during the galway races that quite a good few people were hired for different jobs. Just wondering whats the going rate per hour with this security company ?

basic 10euro a hour before tax.

Pay rates for security are covered by the JLC. Someone with no experince could expect a houry rate of €10.01 plus allowances for Sundays and anti social hours.

People engaged in the sort of work you describe normally receive a slightly higher rate than the JLC, but without the allowances.
