Setup Home network Storage with remote access

    Hi,
    hope this is the right place.

    I want to set up a home storage hard drive and be able to access it remotely.

    Have netgear DGN2200 router and my ISP is Vodafone .
    This router has a usb drive connection but only a flash drive is visable, can't see a 1tb WD drive that I have.

    So the question is what drive should I buy, want 1-2Tb storage and how do I set things up to access it remotely.
