    Hi all,

Hope everyone had a good bank holiday weekend...Anyways here is my thinking and rant on

I am sick to death of minority groups holding sway over the majority in this country..If this country was to be be broken down via work wise and at the working age..

    We would have

    500k on the dole
350k in college (not sure on this one)
    300k in the public sector
300k in public sector retirenment(not sure on this one either)
300k in retirement -non public sector (not sure on this figure either)
    1.2m private sector workers..

Now as stated not sure of a few figures but what is sure is that the private sector employee who pays tax is the biggest group out of all..Yet they seem to be the one getting hammered the most

I would call on the gov to bring in a web site system for all people to have a say on their next budget..

Now the gov needs to save 18Billion... There should be a menu of options put up for people to vote on..No longer can the minority be protected. The goose that lays the golden egg is being choked and if it continues it will die...

For example I find it hard to swallow that further pay cuts to ps pay are not on the menu

I find it hard to swallow that people who dont actually own their home and is infact the banks until the last payment have to pay a household charge.

I find it hard to swallow that in order for me to get into work from next year on I will have to pay more at the petrol pump and more on tolls..

I find it hard to swallow people taking the piss out of social welfare

I find it hard that the golden circle will get off with 38 billion of debts and will live comfortably for the rest of thier lifes.

I find it hard to swallow PS pensions being paid to anyone under the age of 68

I find it hard to swallow the likes of bertie ahern, and fatso biffo getting their pension and perks after fcuking up the country.

And finally I find it hard to swallow that the IMF/EU are dictating our spend.

A website like this will give the majority group a voice. Which it has not got...

People in this country are getting more and more p1ssed off and the largest group that 1.2 bill are being fcuked over time and time again...Please Enda stop fcuking about and cut and tax as you promised on a 2:1 bases being for every Euro taxed cut 2 Euros out..

Also please do not turn this into a ps verses private I know I had a little go but I had a go at all sectors in society .. I am an equal oppertunity basher :)

At the end of 2010 there were 120,664 public sector pensioners. While there is no doubting your views it might also be useful if you explain how private sector workers have been "fcuked over time and time again" by the government.

Accurate figures might be a good starting point.

Do some research for once, then get back to us with the facts.

Being overtaxed...and seeing where that tax goes? What are my taxes paying for? We have a bad infrastructure and the majority of roads are bad and worse after each winter. We have scandal after scandal coming out from the banks and the PS inefficiencies..Whilst work while projects like an underground is pushed to one side..(something that may make paying my taxes worth while)

The average tax payer (private sector) has seen their hours and wage cut and more taxse so it squashes what they can spend..and this at the bequest of keeping other minority groups at thier over inflated levels

So if you do not aggree with me....Add to that if you were unfortunate to pay for a gaff in the last 6/7 years you not only paid a shed load in stamp duty, but now you have to pay a property tax aswell as paying more interest on something that will continue to depreciate...

Put it another way if you were in a different country you get more for you tax pound/Euro

Main fact is the private sector tax payer is at least double any other group I mentioned thats a fact and the main one

    500k on the dole

There are 450k on the live register. The difference is 50 thousand people, hardly an insignificant number to be added by rounding up.

    500k on the dole
350k in college (not sure on this one)
300k in public sector retirenment(not sure on this one either)
300k in retirement -non public sector (not sure on this figure either)

If you're not sure then your figures are meaningless. I could say there are 500k people in college and as I've no idea of the actual number, neither of our figures are of much use.

I don't think you understand the implications of ignoring facts.

    This guy does.

Meaningless facts -> meaningless arguments. Goodbye.

Does anyone on here argue one fact ...that there are at least twice as many private sector tax payers as there are any other group I stick by that fact so the rest of the argument stands up to scrutiny even if there is a 100k diffference either way..

See, your big mistake was starting a thinly veiled public sector bashing thread with figures that you seemed to pull out of the air. If you've spent time on this forum you should know that the public sector contributors to this forum will fight their corner and you're just making it far too easy for them.

Better luck next time old chap!

Well I make no bones about the fact that the more we cut the less I will be taxed ...nothing personal

Nobody disputes that there are more private sector tax payers and as these as the largest group of citizens then the bulk of the burden of clearing up the mess will naturally fall on them. It is not rocket science.

But we will be getting taxed more so we will be burdened but shouldnt the burden be shared with the rest of the minority groups?

We will be taxed the same as public servants and we will be better than the overwhelming majority of those upon social welfare. You're trying to turn this into private sector versus everyone else.

the 3 groups in my opinion that are taking the p*ss & need to be tackled are...

    1. long term welfare spongers
    2. pensioners
    3. PS, particularly the middle and upper layers

its funny how the same targets get attacked again and again like it is some total coincidence... IT ISNT! For a society that goes on about nothing but FAIRNESS (snigger) this country has to be on of the most unfair on the planet!
