Thanks OP. The 15 euro one was out of stock in all our stores but I managed to reserve the cheaper one in Childers road, Limerick.

Careful with the smaller ones, they're not worth a ****e. You can only fill these things 2/3 of the way so take one third off the stated capaity.

We got a smaller one cheap last year and ended up exchanging it the next day for a bigger one.

Last time they had the bigger ones on offer they put them all out on the shop floors, so they show up as out of stock on the computer. You have to go in and check the floor yourself (or maybe you could ring).

Yes. We use the smallest one from Argos regularly. It will easily make dinner for 2 with plenty leftover. Just don't use their recipe book as it is meant for the larger cookers.

Can anyone tell me when Argos is up-dating their website offer? Did anyone check if it's during the day or mornings or any other time? When is the best time to check for hot deals on their www??

Thanks for this, I just reserved the last one in my local Argos to pick up tomorrow!!! I have been thinking about getting one of these with a while.

It has great reviews also and just googled some slow cooker recipes that look awsome http://slowandsimple.com/. Can't wait to get slow cooking:D

Just came across this thread. I am in the market for a slow cooker and wonder what people think about them. I was looking to get the largest capacity as I have 5 adults in my home. Any advice which model is best?
