Anyone want to get together and set up a site that compares windturbines in the energy market.

I think it is a site that would do well.

Compare Power Outputs, wind, install costs, reviews, etc etc etc

    Commercial, Industrial and Residential.

Creating a "Go to site" for all turbine information and the Adverts that go with it.

    I was thinking about using

    COMPARETURBINES.COM

    or

    COMPAREWINDTURBINES.COM

OP, you have a domain name and obviously trying to fill it with content. This
is like having a hammer and looking everywhere furiously for some nails to bang.

Companies that do vendor neutral testing of industrial equipment usually have to have a lot of credibility behind them. This takes years to build up.
Secondly, their results are usually published in formal reports that cost around
30 grand. They are usually not available on websites to download.

If you were targeting the consumer end, you probably have a market but as for the big boys / industry, forget it. They get their info from research houses and universities.

Also bearing in mind for the consumer market, you have a very niche market given the expense, where they can actually be built and planning considerations.

    Nice idea all the same!

the industrial market is for content only- I work in the industry. Choices are driven by the financier but the information is still needed and not available in one location.

As for residential - its a highly searched topic and thats why i feel has value.

Is it something like this you're thinking of,

    http://www.rensmart.com/Products/WindTurbines

I've been looking at wind turbine data for a few years and there are several websites that do comparison data.

You could also have a look at this, 5 turbines with real time comparison data since 2009.

This thread is just a follow on from the last one you setup where you had little success in trying to sell a bunch of related domain names. Originally you were going to just let them expire unless they might be worth something. Now you are trying to go a different route and making out there is a lot of searches in this area and that it would be a good business to setup such a website. This thread isnt the place for either of those options and as a result the thread is being closed.

If you want to build a website then post in the web design forum in the work wanted section found here:

If you are looking for a business partner then post here:
