The 'Ahh Bra'

Ok, so I'm studying for my final exams that are in a weeks time (so i'm a zombie) and up on the tv pops a 'teleshopping ad' for the Ahh Bra... sort of like a little top but with all the qualities of a good bra without the underwire etc etc...(you can see it here )
    https://www.ahhbra.com/A4/?

Now, I'm a girl of considerable chest size and the bras I currently have annoy my t*ts no end. Everyday I'm stabbed in the side by the wires, constantly have the 'four boob' syndrome no matter how well it fits and they're basically making my life HELL.

This tv ad sucked me right in and I went and bought 3 (3 for £59 which seemed pretty resonable to me going by what I usually pay for one).

Yes, I probably should have done more research before actually comitting to buy but...
What I'm wondering is has anyone EVER come across these before? Have you owned one? Does it work or are they really like a pair of cheap tights? (There's a 30 day money back guarantee for August so I'm banking on just returning them the next day if they don't fit or give support)

Looking forward to hearing what you guys think.. have I been sucked in by the genius of late night tele shopping or am I really on a winner and will never have to buy a horrid underwire bra ever again?

    Regards,
    Me (.)(.) :-/

They look very similar to ones they stock in Dunnes for €6. I used to wear them back in the day when I was an A cup so I doubt they'll offer enough support.
have you tried getting fitted in a proper lingerie shop - I'd strongly rec. bramora in Earlsfort Terrace.

Yeah the bloody ad got to me too but I didn't have the money to buy.

Will you post what you think of them when you get them, I would never normally even look at those ads but they look so comfortable.

I have been fitted so I know I'm wearing the right size but I just hate wearing bras esp when its hot out.

Dotcomdolly I'll have another look in dunnes but I had never seen anything like them before...

I always get fitted but just recently, I havn't had the time or the money to go to the shop where I've gone since I was 10! I'm not in Dublin, I'm out in the sticks of Donegal so it's not as easy to sort these problems out.

I'll post what I think of them surly, I really really hope they work. I've seen some good reports and some bad but I suppose you can't please everyone. If they're s**t I'll be sending them back straight away and use the money on a good new one I can try on!

I did look at them and thought they would be really handy for the fist few months when you are pregnant (I went up 5 sizes and bought 4 different bra sizes that are all useless to me now).

I'd love to know the level of support and if you can see the material when you wear a v-neck top, it looks like that would show through most of my tops.

Looks like it wouldn't give much support for bigger boobs. I'd go and get measured properly (not in a department store, go to a specialist shop, I've seen loads of posts recommending Bramora like Dotcomdolly said)

Gosh yes, let us know how you get on.

I can only wear the 'normal' underwired bras a few days a month. Otherwise there is no chance.

Even though I am relatively small, the sports bra styles are too sweat inducing for everyday wear in summer.

I don't have one of these but saw the advert and thought they looked fairly unsupportive but comfortable. I'm a 34FF cup so know your pain about bras, it can be so tricky.

The double-boob effect is caused by a too small cup size. I often feel wires poking me under the arms when I'm wearing balconette bras or when the bra doesn't fit correctly. I can't recommend getting measured enough - saves so much pain. Also, get measured for each shop you buy in as the sizes run different everywhere.

Thanks ladies, I'm actually up in Dublin next week for a few days so I might just go to that place you've suggested.

I get measured everytime I need a new bra.. but I put it off for as long as I can because I usually leave feeling so depressed. Standing in a changing room for nearly an hour trying on a multitude of bras and might only come out with one that fits. I hate shopping for bras but I really REALLY need a new on. Final exams next week so then I'll have the time to go and get a good one.

I'm a 36G and it depresses the feck outta me. :(

Well bramora are geared towards the bigger bust so you should definitely get sorted there, the most I have ever tried on before hitting the right fit is 3, they are really skilled, just as good as rigby & pellar IMO.

I know how you feel, I used to be that size too, and at 5'2 it was alot to be carrying. Bras never felt comfy regardless of where I bought them and I just hated my chest especially without a bra, i thought they looked horrendous. So made the decision to have a reduction, best decision I ever made, 4 years on and zero regrets!

Bravissimo are great for bras though, and they come in really pretty and sexy styles too :)

I've tried Bravissimo but I hate buying before I try. (even though I've just bought ones online!?)

Shall try out that Bramora place but will let you all know how I get on with the mail orders

You cannot possibly be wearing the right sized bra if you get 'four boob syndrome'.

    Eugh, state of it.
