Back in febuary my sister banged the boot of the car down on my nose, it was extremely painful but nothing happened until a week later when it started bleeding.
I burst a blood vessel in my nose and spent 8 days in hospital, it wouldnt stop bleeding so I had to have surgery.
Since then I have been terrified to even touch my nose. Its seriously affecting my life. I cant even explain how terrified I am of it yet its attached to my face.
My question is if a blood vessel breaks and fixes itself is it as strong as it was before or is it weak.
Also Im flying to portugal at the end of the month, could the pressure in the cabin cause it to burst again. I really feel like not going. Being in an Irish hospital was f-ed up enough I cant even imagine bleeding on the plane or in a portugese hospital
