Hi all hoping someone can help me out on this matter.

I am in full time employment but i work 5 days out of the 7 and that means i have to do weekend work.

I have no issue working weekends, the thing is i have worked the last 9 weekends in a row and i am scheduled to work the next 3 weekends.

I am getting a little cheesed off now, Does anyone know if there are any laws against all of this weekend work.

Before anyone has a go, I know i am lucky to have a job but i also deserve to have a life too

In answer to your question, no there is no law relating to how many weekends you have to work. Usually your contract says '5 days over 7', meaning your hours are 5 days spread over any of the 7 days.

I would have a word with your manager, I know when I'm doing rotas and putting in holidays I can burn some people while trying to make the rota work.

Sort of related to this, but is there any law that says that you have to get something for bank hols.
My OH is also on a contract that says 5 days out of 7, and he has been just told that this stands even for weeks with a bank hol. Is this right?
