Using steel as a skin

    Evening All

Just wondering if it is feasable to use steel as a skin for an extension, would be insulated on the inside, havnt decided how yet, was mentioned to me that maybe lining it in a DPC, adding beams and insulated board may work.

As for the roof, havnt figured it out yet, can dont think a steel rood would be to quiet.

Eventually block work would be going on the outside.

Its just an idea floating through my head.

    Cheers

Sounds like an expensive way of doing it?

I would have thought that , unless you are a shipbuilder, that aluminium cladding would be more appropriate.
