ex wont see his kids

    Putting this up for a friend,what happened is her soon to be ex husband refuses to see the kids but there is a court order where he has custody and she will be arrested for abduction if she doesnt bring the kids to him,shes has texts saying he doesnt want to see them,what kind of action should she take here?

    Does the order say that she HAS to take them to see him? If not then, he's the one breaking the order not her and she can bring it to the courts that he is breaking the order.

    Talk to Solicitor - get legal advice - there are children involved.

    Get your friend to go to this guys house with the kids and a witness. Also get her to take photo's of the house with time stamp's on them. Then if anything comes of it she has proof she tried reasonably to make contact.

    Update she says the order only says "change over" I would assume that that means he would have to make an effort to get them and not sit there waiting for her to bring them over?


    Lock this up she got sorted with the Garda.
