Charcoal Extractor Hood

Hi, I am planning a new kitchen at the moment and I am researching charcoal extractor hoods. I would prefer a proper extract externally but is not that straightforward as there is a boiler in the path from where the extract hood is to the external wall and the other option into the attic would involve a lot of work. Im wondering is it worth the hassle/cost v's a charcoal extract? Thanks.
