pre-season help

    im starting pre-season with j4 team next week i havnt done one before i was wondering what you guys would suggest as far as some conditioning work for the next week or so as i dont want to be behind everyone fitness wise on the first session.

    did a 5 mile steady jog today should i be doing some sprints etc? whats the usual set up for first few sessions? do any of you have specific routines you do before pre-season? i have been doing some weights and the odd soccer match throughout june/july

    If you have any idea what crossfit is I would look into doing the work out of the day, as this will give you a good standard of both strength and stamina training. Other then that if it is only preseason you are going into a lot of people will be out of shape so I wouldn't be too worried about it
